Didn’t get a chance to blog about it before as I have been unfortunately preoccupied working on my master’s thesis- but RIP Mike Kelley. What a bummer, what a hero. The romantic version or the political version, eh? Well, death is seldom romantic and usually political. This is charming and funny, but oh-so-sad now. He approached everything he touched with a certain energy that so many artists and art-lovers are sad to see go from the universe. Fortunately for us he left work behind and art doesn’t forget.
